Scottish family history research

Unlocking the stories of your ancestors allows names on a chart or document come to life. With access to the local Scottish records I can help unearth their stories and build a pedigree linking your family’s histories together.

Scottish genealogy talks

I provide courses on genealogy and house-histories to any group requiring to know more about the records within Scotland’s depositories or how to carry out their own research. I have been a Speaker at Family History Societies Meetings on the work of the Guild of One Name Studies and about starting a One Place Study. Yearly I co-produce and deliver a talk at the Reivers Festival in Hawick.
